Official Rules & Guidelines
Breaking any of these rules may result in an immediate and/or permanent ban without prior notification or warning. You must be 18+ years of age to play here (Zero Exceptions). Rules are strictly enforced to maintain realism.
C1.0 — Age Requirement & Government Authority
C1.1a: You must be 18+ years of age to play on this server.
C1.2a: No exceptions to the age requirement.
C1.3a: Government Officials have final say in all matters and are not obligated to disclose information regarding warnings, bans, etc.
C2.0 — Unauthorized Government Use
C2.1a: Unauthorized use of any Government vehicle/entity results in an automatic permanent ban.
C2.2a: You are not permitted to wear white shirt/black pants or display Government badges/IDs without proper authorization.
C3.0 — Discord & Character Names
C3.1a: Discord names must include your character’s name(s).
C3.2a: Failure to comply upon character creation may result in a 2-day ban (Staff excluded).
C4.0 — Language & Microphone
C4.1a: This is an English-speaking server; you must speak and understand English fluently.
C4.2a: You must have a working microphone with clear output and minimal background noise. Failure may result in a ban until fixed.
C4.3a: Excessive~ profanity is prohibited to maintain immersion and respect among participants.
C5.0 — Out of Character (OOC) Chat
C5.1a: /ooc is strictly for out-of-character communication; do not use it for in-character actions.
C6.0 — Vehicle & Uniform Restrictions
C6.1a: You may only use the vehicle/uniform of your own rank/class.
C6.2a: You may not drive or save unmarked vehicles or other police vehicles outside your class.
C7.0 — Prohibited Actions (Permanent Ban Offenses)
C7.1a: Stealing officers’ vehicles, shooting, or killing other officers is strictly prohibited.
C7.2a: Attempting to steal any LEO vehicle without permission results in a ban.
C7.3a: No player/officer has authorization to handle, RDM, or kill another officer for any reason. (If you are subject to RDM, this must be reported. Engaging in FailRP activity is punishable.)
C8.0 — Interactions with AI (NPCs)
C8.1a: You may not kill innocent NPCs, arrest them without cause, or commit unlawful acts against them.
C8.2a: Violations may lead to a department expulsion or server ban.
C9.0 — False Arrests & Powergaming
C9.1a: All arrests are logged; superiors will see any unlawful or falsified arrests.
C9.2a: False arrests or unlawful behavior is considered Powergaming and is punishable.
C10.0 — CIV Roleplay
C10.1a: You may only roleplay as a CIV if requested and granted by a Government Official.
C10.2a: Approved CIV players will receive special Discord roles.
C11.0 — LSPD Ride-Along
C11.1a: LSPD Officers shall not participate in any ride-along unless a Supervisor or above approves it.
C12.0 — Usernames & Callsigns
C12.1a: All usernames/monikers must be fictional (no real-life names).
C12.2a: Ideal format is FirstName / LastName for realism.
C12.3a: In-game usernames must match your character name and proper callsign.
C12.4a: Usernames cannot be inappropriate, and must match our professional(law enforcement) environment.
C13.0 — Traffic Regulations
C13.1a: Red lights function as stop signs—come to a complete stop, ensure clear, then proceed.
C13.2a: Lane-splitting in a four-wheeled vehicle is prohibited (motorcycles exempt).
C14.0 — Falsifying Promotions
C14.1a: Falsifying reports to gain promotions results in immediate removal (“flight out of the city”).
C15.0 — Staff Tickets & Appeals
C15.1a: Staff will not address tickets through a third-party.
C15.2a: Only the individual subject to disciplinary action (e.g., banned or kicked) may create a ticket or appeal.
C15.3a: Confidentiality Clause: Any information pertaining to users under investigation, or who have been kicked or banned, must remain strictly confidential between the involved party and staff. Unauthorized disclosure or discussion of such confidential ticket information—which may incite biased or unwarranted drama—will result in an immediate ban.
C16.0 — No RDM (Random Deathmatch)
C16.1a: RDM is killing someone without reason or valid RP purpose.
C16.2a: There must be prior interaction (robbery, police call, etc.) before lethal force.
C16.3a: Players must provide valid proof/reason for lethal action if requested.
C16.4a: Do not engage or fire upon a rogue—even if they are shooting at you. Allow them to act without interference. Any incident involving shooting or killing a rogue will be logged and may result in RDM/FailRP penalties.
C17.0 — No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)
C17.1a: VDM is using a vehicle to kill/severely injure another player without valid RP.
C17.2a: Vehicles cannot be used arbitrarily as weapons.
C18.0 — No Power Gaming
C18.1a: Do not force players into unwinnable or inescapable scenarios.
C18.2a: Crosshairs or third-party programs giving aim advantage are prohibited.
C18.3a: Police corruption (stealing illegal items, bribery, etc.) leads to bans.
C18.4a: Officers may not abuse spike strips for trolling or harassment.
C19.0 — No Meta-Gaming
C19.1a: Meta-gaming is using OOC or 3rd-party info in-character.
C19.2a: Alternate characters may not share knowledge or assets.
C19.3a: No discussing in-character events via Discord or other outside voice chats.
C19.4a: Talking while dead or reading chat/do/me prompts to gain unfair knowledge is meta-gaming.
C20.0 — Value of Life
C20.1a: Always value your life; multiple severe injuries in short spans are unrealistic.
C20.2a: EMS on duty and in uniform may not be kidnapped.
C20.3a: Reporters visibly reporting on a scene may not be kidnapped or robbed.
C20.4a: When a gun is pointed at you, comply; calling for backup or drawing a weapon is FailRP.
C20.5a: In hostage scenarios, also value the hostage’s life; do not rush in without ensuring safety.
C21.0 — No Fail RP
C21.1a: Fail RP includes breaking character or doing unrealistic actions.
C21.2a: If a crash/disconnect occurs, post in crash reports and resume upon rejoining.
C21.3a: All on-duty officers must remain in RTO (Radio Traffic Only).
C21.4a: Do not instigate scenarios if you can’t see them through.
C21.5a: Non-off-road vehicles cannot scale mountains unrealistically.
C21.6a: Use of profanity over RTO is strictly prohibited.
C21.7a: Only Supervisors/Staff may delete vehicles.
C21.8a: Only Staff may bring, drag, or teleport other players.
C21.9a: Accessing restricted areas (Air Force Base, LSIA, etc.) without prior approval is FailRP.
C21.10a: Repairing a vehicle mid-scenario without proper RP is FailRP.
C21.11a: A working mic/radio is required; text-only patrolling is not allowed.
C21.12a: Reckless driving (drifting/racing) in duty vehicles is prohibited.
C21.13a: Do not enter FIB, IAA, or other Govt buildings without permission. (PD excluded)
C21.14a: Running Code 2/3 without an actual emergency is FailRP.
C21.15a: When running lights/sirens, slow down and clear intersections.
C21.16a: LSPD must not alter the /eup uniform beyond official standards.
C21.17a: For civilian disputes, an actual recording is required for evidence (not just “server body cam”).
C22.0 — Aviation
C22.1a: Only trained/approved pilots may operate aircraft; your character cannot magically “know” how to fly.
C23.0 — NLR (New Life Rule)
C23.1a: When you bleed out or respawn (local EMS), you forget all events leading to your death.
C23.2a: You cannot rejoin ongoing scenarios or seek retaliation immediately after death.
C23.3a: If you’re down and the scene is active, wait until it ends or minutes before calling local EMS.
C23.4a : Players are not allowed to transfer or share money, vehicles, items, properties, or any assets between characters/accounts they create. Each new character represents a completely separate life and may not have knowledge of or benefit from the previous character’s experiences, possessions, or connections. Violating this rule will result in asset removal and potential disciplinary action.
C24.0 — Bug Abusing/Exploiting
C24.1a: Report all bugs immediately; do not exploit them.
C24.2a: Using mods, trainers, or software for unfair advantage is permanently bannable.
C24.3a: No abusing scripts, or finding loop holes, this goes for chat commands/scripts, vehicles, etc. Any person found abusing scripts will be subject to ban.
C25.0 — Offensive Roleplay
C25.1a: Racism, homophobia, transphobia, or sexism is not tolerated.
C25.2a: Terror roleplay, sexual assault, or rape roleplay is strictly prohibited.
C25.3a: Detailed torture/dismemberment/cannibalism can only occur off-stream and in private (with mutual OOC consent).
C25.4a: The roleplaying of suicide attempts is forbidden.
C26.0 — No Combat Logging
C26.1a: Logging out to escape RP, avoid punishment, or bail on an active scene is Combat Logging and prohibited.
C27.0 — No Protesting
C27.1a: Protesting in the city is off-limits due to current global events.
C28.0 — Disrupting Server Operations
C28.1a: Players must be respectful and foster a positive community environment.
C28.2a: Advertising or discussing other GTA V communities is not allowed.
C28.3a: Leaking personal info or making threats is strictly forbidden.
C28.4a: Harassing or intimidating players OOC to ruin their RP is also prohibited.
C29.0 — Criminal Activity (If CIV Allowed)
C29.1a: Robberies must be realistic with valid in-character motives and should occur in secluded areas.
C29.2a: Do not steal from a business treasury via the group/phone app.
C29.3a: Job vehicles (taxi, EMS, etc.) cannot be used for illegal activities.
C29.4a: Only 1 prison break attempt allowed per 1 OOC week.
C29.5a: Kidnapping/hostage-taking requires valid RP reasons.
C29.6a: If charged with hostage-taking, you cannot do another hostage scenario for 24 hours.
C30.0 — Character Creation
C30.1a: Characters must be human and realistic.
C30.2a: Names with slang, offensive language, or real references are prohibited.
C30.3a: Staff may force a name change or ban for violations.
C30.4a: Dress appropriately for weather or RP the consequences.
C30.5a: No making body parts invisible or glitching them on purpose.
C30.6a: Hair colour/style must be realistic(professional) for law enforcement
C31.0 — Radio Protocol (Penal Code 18)
C31.1a: Use appropriate radio codes and keep radio comms professional.
C31.2a: Repeated interruptions or excessive OOC chatter on the radio can lead to disciplinary action.
C32.0 — Emergency Services Protocols (Penal Code 19)
C32.1a: EMS/Fire must respond professionally following standard protocols.
C32.2a: EMS on duty may not carry weapons or join crime scenes.
C32.3a: Police must secure high-risk scenes before EMS enters.
C33.0 — Chain of Command (Penal Code 20)
C33.1a: Follow instructions from superiors and respect the chain of command.
C33.2a: Supervisors enforce SOPs, manage scenes, and mentor junior officers.
C34.0 — Training & Ride-Along Policies (Penal Code 21)
C34.1a: New players must read/accept all rules before patrol approval.
C34.2a: Ride-alongs require Supervisor approval (especially for non-standard riders).
C35.0 — Use of Body Cameras (Penal Code 22)
C35.1a: Officers are encouraged to use body cams to document incidents.
C35.2a: No fabricating or falsifying footage; violations will be severely punished.
C36.0 — Self-Defense & Lethal Force (Penal Code 23)
C36.1a: Officers follow the use-of-force continuum and only use lethal force when necessary.
C36.2a: Self-defense is valid when there is an actual life-threatening danger or to protect others.
C37.0 — Staff Notice
C37.1a: Jurisdictional Boundaries: Staff are exempt from standard jurisdiction restrictions.
C37.2a: Court Hearings: Staff may bypass or initiate hearings; they can issue kicks/bans without public evidence.
C37.3a: Restricted Areas: Staff can operate freely in sensitive areas (e.g., hospitals, bases).
C37.4a: Immediate Administrative Actions: Staff can assign court hearings, summon players, or manage appeals at their discretion.
C38.0 — Final Reminder
C38.1a: If you wouldn’t do it in real life, don’t do it in-game.
C38.2a: Always stay in character and ensure your actions align with your character’s perspective.
C39.0 — Vehicle Pursuit Policy
C39.1a: Pursuit Justification
Officers must have a valid reason (suspect is fleeing a lawful stop, wanted for a violent felony, etc.) before initiating a high-speed pursuit.
C39.2a: Safety & Termination
If a pursuit becomes unreasonably dangerous to bystanders, or the identity of the suspect is known and can be apprehended later, or this will exceed the jurisdiction line, supervisors should consider calling off the chase and/or granting permission for allowing the pursuit to continue (LSPD is not authorized to leave jurisdiction for any reason).
C39.3a: Supervisor Oversight
A supervisor should monitor or take command of any multi-unit pursuit, deciding when or if to continue.
C40.0 — Use of Force Continuum
C40.1a: Escalation Levels
Officers must progress through levels of force—presence, verbal commands, non-lethal options—before resorting to lethal force, unless under immediate life-threatening conditions.
C40.2a: Non-Lethal Options
Tools like tasers, batons, and pepper spray should be used when appropriate. Excessive or unwarranted force may result in disciplinary actions.
C40.3a: Documentation
Any use of force beyond basic restraint requires thorough documentation (incident report, body cam footage, etc.).
C41.0 — On-Duty vs. Off-Duty Behavior
C41.1a: Professionalism — Officers must remain professional and uphold departmental standards while on duty (radio etiquette, uniform compliance, demeanor).
C41.2a: Criminal Actions Off-Duty — Off-duty officers caught engaging in criminal activities may face immediate termination and server ban and/or court/fines.
C41.3a: Emergency Response Off-Duty — Off-duty officers should not respond to calls or emergencies unless they have the proper uniform, equipment, and clearance from a supervisor.
C42.0 — Probationary Officers
C42.1a: Initial Probation — New recruits or transfers may be placed on a probationary period (e.g., 2 weeks) during which they must follow stricter supervision and guidelines.
C42.2a: Evaluation — Supervisors are responsible for monitoring probationary officers’ performance and recommending either full status or termination at the end of probation.
C42.3a: Restricted Vehicle/Weapon Use — Probationary officers may be restricted to certain vehicle classes or non-lethal weapons until cleared by a Training Officer.
C43.0 — Specialized Units
C43.1a: Eligibility — Units such as K9, SWAT, Air Support, or Detectives require special training and supervisor approval.
C43.2a: Equipment Usage — Specialized weapons or gear (e.g., breaching tools, sniper rifles) are permitted only during relevant callouts or under direct supervisor order.
C43.3a: No Solo Operations — Specialized units must operate in teams or pairs unless explicitly cleared to work solo by a supervisor (e.g., limited detective work).
C44.0 — Gang & Civilian Factions
C44.1a: Gang Formation — Civilians interested in forming gangs or criminal factions must apply for approval, stating their background, purpose, and RP goals.
C44.2a: Conflict & Escalation — All gang conflicts must follow proper RP escalation. Large-scale shootouts, turf wars, or bombings require staff permission to ensure server stability.
C44.3a: Gang vs. LEO Interactions — Gangs may not indefinitely harass or target individual officers without progressive RP or a legitimate backstory.
C45.0 — Evidence Handling & Tampering
C45.1a: Chain of Custody — Officers must properly log all evidence (weapons, narcotics, etc.) into the department’s evidence system.
C45.2a: Tampering Prohibited — Any officer found destroying, stealing, or tampering with evidence faces immediate disciplinary action or a permanent ban.
C45.3a: Evidence in Court — When evidence is used for departmental or server court proceedings, it must be retrieved through proper channels (no fabricating or planting evidence).
C46.0 — Internal Affairs (IA) Investigations
C46.1a: Complaint Process — Players or officers who witness potential misconduct can file a complaint with Internal Affairs at the FIB building..
C46.2a: Investigation Protocol — IA investigators have authority to question officers, request body cam footage, and temporarily reassign personnel during ongoing investigations.
C46.3a: Confidentiality — IA cases remain confidential; leaking sensitive IA info is grounds for suspension or ban.
C47.0 — Prison & Court
C48.1a: Prison Roleplay — If a character is sentenced to adminjail, they should remain there for the assigned in-game time.
C48.2a: Court Proceedings — Major criminal cases or officer misconduct may be handled with a formal court session in RP. Players must respect the court’s ruling.
C48.3a: Judges & Lawyers — Only approved players/staff can act as judges or lawyers. All parties involved must adhere to realistic legal proceedings.
