1. Scope

This notice applies to the Game Network website, game library, multiplayer games, accounts, guest access, profiles, rooms, chats, invitations, reports, administrator tools, and related services.

It should be read together with the Terms of Service.

2. Information the Service may collect

  • Favorite game, invitation settings, sound settings, profile visibility, and other settings selected by the user.

Game and room information

User communications

  • Chats, links, usernames, display names, biographies, room and team names, report descriptions, and other submitted content.

Technical and safety information

  • IP address or a protected representation of it, forwarded network information when supplied by trusted infrastructure, browser user agent, language, client hints, device or browser identifier, session identifier, timestamps, request activity, login attempts, rate-limit events, errors, and security logs.
  • Relationships between accounts, guests, devices, sessions, and networks when used to prevent duplicate accounts, ban evasion, abuse, or attacks.

3. Chat, links, and safety monitoring

Chats, links, names, reports, room activity, game events, and security events may be automatically filtered, logged, flagged, and reviewed by authorized administrators.

Automated filters may detect prohibited words, repeated messages, suspicious links, spam, impersonation, evasion attempts, threats, or other safety concerns. Filters may make mistakes and do not guarantee that every harmful item will be detected.

Private, invitation-only, locked, or password-protected rooms remain subject to safety logging and administrator review.

4. How information may be used

  • Provide accounts, guest sessions, rooms, matchmaking, games, chat, profiles, statistics, and invitations.
  • Authenticate users, preserve sessions, recover from errors, and keep the platform operational.
  • Prevent spam, duplicate-account abuse, cheating, fraud, unauthorized access, attacks, and ban evasion.
  • Review reports, moderate content, enforce restrictions, and maintain audit records.
  • Measure active players and service performance.
  • Debug problems, protect data integrity, improve game balance, and develop new features.
  • Comply with law, legal process, safety obligations, and valid requests from authorities.

5. Network, browser, device, and session identifiers

The Service may associate technical identifiers with accounts or guest identities for security, moderation, account limits, and enforcement. A restriction may be applied to related accounts, devices, sessions, or networks when there is a reasonable basis to believe they are connected.

IP addresses can be shared by households, schools, workplaces, mobile carriers, or public networks, and device identifiers can change. These signals are used as safety indicators and may be reviewed with other evidence.

Where supported, sensitive technical values may be encrypted. Irreversible hashes may also be used for comparison without displaying the original value.

6. When information may be disclosed

Information may be disclosed:

  • To hosting, infrastructure, security, backup, or technical service providers that help operate the Service.
  • To authorized administrators, developers, or moderators who need access for operations, safety, or investigation.
  • To protect users, the operator, service providers, or third parties from harm, fraud, abuse, attacks, or unauthorized access.
  • To comply with subpoenas, court orders, warrants, regulatory requests, or other valid legal process.
  • To law enforcement, emergency services, cybersecurity organizations, hosting providers, or affected parties when there is credible evidence of unlawful activity, a security incident, a threat, or an emergency.
  • As part of a transfer, reorganization, migration, or change in operation, subject to appropriate protections.

The Service does not treat public chat or publicly visible profile information as confidential.

7. Retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, preserve statistics, secure accounts, investigate reports, enforce restrictions, maintain audit history, resolve disputes, recover from failures, and comply with law.

Some records may remain after an account is disabled or anonymized, including moderation logs, chat evidence, match history, identifier hashes, security events, and administrator audit records, when retention is reasonably necessary for safety or legal purposes.

Retention periods may vary by record type and operational need. Backups may continue to contain information for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

8. Security

The Service uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to its size and operation, which may include password hashing, access controls, CSRF protection, rate limits, protected data directories, encrypted fields where available, hashed identifiers, audit logs, and administrator authentication.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should use unique passwords, protect their devices, avoid sharing invitation or session links, and report suspected compromise.

9. User choices and access

  • Registered users may edit supported profile fields and preferences from their profile.
  • Users may mute chat or sound where the feature is available.
  • Users may stop using the Service at any time.
  • Requests concerning account access, correction, deletion, or moderation review may be submitted through an official support or administration channel, subject to identity verification and applicable law.

Deleting or anonymizing an account may not require deletion of records that must be retained for fraud prevention, security, enforcement, legal compliance, or the rights of others.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and users under the legal age of majority should use it only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

If the operator learns that information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, reasonable steps may be taken to restrict the account and delete the information when legally required and operationally possible.

11. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as games, logging practices, security controls, laws, or service providers change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are published.

12. Questions and privacy requests

Use the official support or administration channel made available through the Service for privacy questions, safety concerns, or account requests. Do not submit passwords or highly sensitive information through public chat.

The operator should review this notice with qualified legal counsel and publish accurate contact and jurisdiction information before a public production launch.
